This is the very first post I shall be sharing on this blog.
Yes we are latecomers in the business of blogging. But, as they say, it's better late than never.
This blog shall be dedicated to
1. Sharing issues on law especially matters relating to intellectual property law.
2. Providing readers with step by step procedures on how to protect their intellectual property rights.
3. Offer readers the legal services (sometimes pro bono) in the protection of their intellectual property rights
4. Share funny, comical and other news materials on intellectual property.
5. Do any other thing that is incidental to the protection of Intellectual property law.
Doesn't it appear that it's all about IP?.
Well. It is about IP and so much more.
One thing I guarantee you is, it will be exciting, educating, rewarding and profitable.

It is not out of place for Nigerians living abroad to meet the love of their lives while in sojourn in another country. It is easy and almost straight-forward if both parties are citizens of Nigeria and have their domicil as Nigeria. The challenge is usually in situations where one of the parties (especially the husband) is not a Nigerian or where the parties desire to contract the marriage in their country of habitation but under the Nigerian Marriage Act or where parties have contracted the marriage under the laws of the jurisdiction of habitation but desire to file for divorce in Nigerian Courts. The usual practice among Nigerians living abroad has been to invite their spouses to Nigeria in order to perform the marriage processes in a Marriage Registry in Nigeria.
